About
Joe is a research student at Essex University, where he is researching the use of computer vision algorithms to detect behaviours in livestock.
He is also a Geospatial Information Systems developer with many years of commercial experience in the energy infrastructure and net-zero businesses.
He maintains Git for Graduates, a book on the effective use of Git that fits on your phone.
When he's not making computers see things or draw lines, he can be found riding motorcycles in East Anglia or paddling kayaks on the Norfolk Broads. For more details, read the Now Page.
